can you double them up. i was thining about the 4" shackle flip with 2" bolcks, but now im thinking a 1 in add a leaf and an a-tron shim. is this posible? would it be safe? it would also be just for the rear. i have a long bed truck.

I have the shackle flip, add a leafs, and a tapered zero rate on my 90 Blazer. I towed a tandem axle trailer tipping the scales at over 7k from Ga to Montana with no problems. It was a little bouncy at times but nothing major. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

It's probably fine, but I'd look at tack welding them together to eliminate one surface and you might consider a plain 2" block with the taper on it. This isn't a lot different from adding several extra leaves to the pack but it does start getting tall.
