I think you are going to see Hillary Clinton take her shot at it. I think that is why you didn't see much of her during this election. She kinda wanted Kerry to loose so she wouldn't have to wait till 2012 for her shot. She would be getting to old then and probably have lost some of her luster by then.

You might see Rudy G. take a shot in 2008 also.

McCain is getting old , he said on TV here in AZ , " in 2008 I will be 2008 " . It would be cool if he did , but I don't know if he will . /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

It will be Hillary vs. the Governator if Arnold gets his way. /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif I don't think that our population is ready to elect a woman president, unless the republicans leave us no choice.

I second what JekBrown said, but I don't know about Condoleeza as VP. I'd read that she wasn't enamored with Washington and wanted to go back to California.

I'd vote for Guiliani, but I don't know if enough people outside New York or the Northeast know who he is to get him nominated. I guess more than others, though.
Guiliani has a couple positions I don't like, but he's way closer to my views than Hillary.

Just to note that at the moment, The Gubernator cannot, in fact, become President.

Anybody else remember that scene from "Demolition Man" about the 83rd (or whatever) Amendment?

I have been wanting to see that movie for a couple of months now, I just haven't found an affordable one yet. What was the amendment?

I also agree with McCain, possibly as VP though. Imagine what a race there would be if the Dems put someone up with character like Zell Miller (I know he's changed parties but a "right wing" Democrat type person)?
