I'll be doing a axle swap in the near future. My Blazer is fulltime 4 wheel drive, the 3/4 ton Dana 44 has lock outs. I know I could just run them in the locked possion, but could I use parts from the 1/2 Dana 44 to convert the 3/4 ton Dana 44 to fulltime ???? I'll also be doing a 4 speed/NP-205 conversion, but that wont be for atleast another year or better. At that time I'll get the Warn preimum lock outs. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

I had a K5 10 bolt, which had brand new warn hubs on it. So when I got my 3/4 ton w/ a D44, I pulled the lockouts off and bolted em right on. I'd bet you could put your fulltime stuff in there no problem.

The full-time Dana 44 just has drive flanges instead of lock-out hubs. It would be simple to switch the locking hubs for the drive flanges, if the 3/4 ton Dana 44 has the internal style hubs and not the larger external style hubs.

Yup. And I would do like was suggested, just throw your 1/2t drive flanges in your 3/4 ton front til you swap your trans/tcase. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
