1/2ton-3/4ton D44-10BOLT

    BESIDES HUBS whats diffent between the ½ton and 3/4ton 10bolt and I want to know the same for the D44 Is it Just hubs or is it spindels or any thing else too?

    both axles, everything from the knuckles out are different from 1/2 to 3/4....everything else is the same

    Exept the 10 bolt.. Some where in 30 spline and some where 28..

    Ok with out spending over $200 per axle.
    Could you change the hubs and spindles?

    the only thing that is the same is the outer bearing,calipers,and the knuckle.nothing else interchanges.you have to have everything from the spindle out.so spindle,backing plate(caliper mount),hub,rotor,bearings,all have to be changed out to make it 6 lug.

    So you 100% sure I would have to change the spindles to right? /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif

    As far as spindles go

    The only differnece is 1st or 2nd design.
    1st design goes up to about '76 for D44's
    All 10B's are 2nd design.

    You then need the hub to match the spindle design.
