1\" add a leaf on driver\'s side only??????

My rig is uneven in the rear..Driver's side rear sits about an inch lower than other corners....I have 2.5" lift (blocks in rear and springs in front). Can I level out the rear with a 1" add a leaf? Anyone have similar problem? Suggestions?

This can be caused by several things, bad bushings, broken leaf, or bent frame. I would check the bushings and springs before I used an add-a-leaf on one side.

Cant afford new springs right now, and if it is a frame or body mount problem, the sag would still be there..........I am loooking for a cheap, easy quick fix to leveling the rear. suggestions??????

I have pulled a lot of suspensions apart adding lifts for friends and have seen springs added in different packs to add ride hight its mostly been on work trucks where the original owner hauled a lot of weight in the back like tools and other things mainly on one side so the truck would sag to that side after time the springs would stay that way even with nothing in the rear. the best way to fix the problem is new bushings and springs but if you cant afford that I dont see how it could hurt to use an add leaf. I havent done it but I have seen a lot like that. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

Go check out the springs off a truck in the wrecking yard and see what they want. Shouldn't be too bad, and it might work out for ya.

Springs from a junk yard would cost less than a 0-rate. The other thing you have to ask is why is it sagging...I bet you have at least one broken leaf in that pack!

Your springs will settle, just wait and see what happens.
