    1\" Body Lift on a 83 K5 Blazer Diesel?

I just ordered a 1" ORD Body Lift for my 83 K5 Blazer Diesel. Is there anything I need to know before I install it?

    Thanks,
    Scott

I have a 2" on my 85 diesel, and all it needed was the fan shroud cut. The fuel neck even made it out alright.

I thought you weren't supposed to put a body lift on a diesel? My guess is /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif and it's the same as a putting one on a gas K5. /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

I think that the lift company just has not tried installing it's body lift on a diesel Blazer. It's safe just to say it will not work.

I have a 3 inch on my 6.2 Blazer and it worked fine. The Hydrboost lines are at their maximum though, almost had to make new lines but a little bit of tugging here and there did the trick. A 1 or 2 inch body lift should have no problems at all. The gas lines even had enough slack. Only mods were to the fan shroud if I remember right.
