Here are some pic's of 1 FN HI K5 stuck for 7 1/2 hours yesterday nov.25th. At one point we had 4 trucks hooked up and one with a winch. What hurt the most is I broke a front axle or a hub. When we got it out on the last try my bottom end let go sounds like a rod knocking. I drove it home about 20 miles with 10 pounds oil pressure.
Thanks for the help guys. Later Brad AKA1 FN HI K5 http://community.webshots.com/user/1fnhik5

Brad,

Well I guess since the engine croaked.....it's time for a RamJet502!!!!!

It's the only engine that will live up to the "BIGNESS" of the rest of your truck! [IMG]

PLUS....you can probably power right through that mud next time.....

Man, thats a serious mud pit. It would be almost up to my roof w/ a 6"/8" lift &35's. LOL
Bummer about the engine and frontend dude. That sucks about the breakage. It happens to someone everytime out it seems like.
Did you take some mudwater slush down the intake & hydrolock the engine and bend a rod trying to start it?
We hydrolocked a buddy's Toyota motor and bent a rod crossing the creek on the way into Pismo Beach. At least it got you back home.. Ours didn't.
What's the plans for the engine now?
I think Triaged did that at blazerfest but was smart enough to pull out all the spark plugs and clear out the cylinders before trying to start it.. er something... but then he caught his tranny line on fire.

Dude. Your truck will never be the same for Hot August nights now... Maybe I'll see you up there next year if you're going...Theres gonna be mud in every little nook and cranny. some serious cleaning time. Steam Cleaner? At least your willing to go for it and have fun even though its a clean truck. Bad A$$ dude. You got new 4 wheelin' pic's every weekend. Keep 'em coming.
Take it easy

Im still planing on going to Hot August Nights i guess High Pinion 60 rear steering is out. As for the motor im still thinking what i want. I have a 1990 chevy 350 stock motor somewhat ready to put in. Buy the way i only broke the driver side hub. I have alot of time to clean and fix the rig before Hot August Nights. 1 FN HI K5
