I just want to be sure, before I make the offer that 1 ton axles out of a 1980 pickup (single rear wheels) are 14 bolt. And how do I distinguish if they are full floating, or just semi floating???? The farmer across the street from me just "retired" his '80 K-30, and I think I hear opportunity knocking on my door :)

Go to the home page and look under technical, and there will be an axle identification chart

Semi floating will not have a hub sticking out from the center of the wheel, Full Floater will stick out about 4 inches or so, and weigh in at a measly 600 pounds.[IMG]

First off the full floating rear will have hubs sticking out instead of a c clip that is inverted and is much larger
also a true one ton has 13 inch rear brakes stamped on the
inside drum housing. If they are smaller it is not a one ton
rear. The front will say 60f on the right side of the pumpkin facing the front of the truck. Brian

    If it says K30 or 3500 and it's 4wd-it'll be a 14 bolt FF.
By the way , they call it a 14 bolt because there are 14 bolts that hold the ring gear on the carrier not just the the inspection cover
