Was wondering if there is such thing as a 1 ton blazer? I was thinking that if it is a good idea to go to 14 bolt axles, you are still going to have the weak frame. I guess the only reason for an axle upgrade is because a 10 bolt is pretty vunerable to breakage under average 4 wheelin w/ big tires. Correct me if I am wrong, let me know about the 1 ton blazer too. Thanks.

Tons of guys here have them. The frame is not weak for the most part. My shortbox truck has been converted to 3/4 ton.

To make a long answer short......no.

Blazers were available from the factory ONLY as 1/2 ton. All the 1 tons you keep reading or hearing about are conversions.
