    tomarrow i am picking up a 1980 GMC K35 1 ton crew cab /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

im getting it for $1800. it has a d60/14bff/350/465/205 setup. body is in decent shape too.

im thinking 12-14" lift with 44's. should be a fun project!!!

anyone else around nor-cal have a crew cab 1-ton? i would like to see pics of them if possible.

you should rip out the D60, sling a 8-lug D44 under it and you have a kick arse tow rig!

i just asked around and someone i know knew of this one, so i went and looked at it and the guy was asking $3000 for it and then he said he would take $2000 for it. i called and offered him $1800 and he said o.k.!!!!

i figure the axles and the tranny and t-case way outweigh the cost.

i think ill get rid of the 465 and make it a 400 auto.

it needs alot of work, but its not anything i cant handle.

this will be a tow rig/ F-around rig.

ive always liked these and just got the itch for one a few weeks ago and started asking around. and tomarrow it will be mine

it will be all white with black rims, bushwacker cut-outs, and tinted black windows.

it will take me awhile to build it up though. maybe ill shoot for blazer-fest 2004!!!

dunno. with a 465 you'll never have to worry about burning out the tranny. cool score no matter what /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
