1\" zero rates + HD shacks and shims...

hey stephen, I am gonna be adding your 1" zero rates and HD shackles to the front end of my jimmy soon. I am running 4" rancho springs right now. Any idea how much I'll have to shim? I've never needed any shims in the past, so I really have no clue. I'm sure these things vary a little depending on the rig...so even wild guess would be helpfull. ;)

I wouldn't plan on any shim. The castor should work out fine (most times extra is good) and with only 5" of lift your driveshaft should be fairly happy without pointing the pinion up. With a low lift I make it drive nice first by giving it good castor then work on the driveshaft angle. You have to drive in 2wd a lot more than 4wd typically.
