If Shane74 doesn't want it, would you trade it for that d44 housing/open carrier 4.10's I have in my shed?

Ok to add to the confusion... I have an extra Dana 44 with 3.08's and 10 bolt 3.73 front (both 6 lug) and need Dana 44 4.10 housing with gears.

I'm out. If it was an 8 lugger, I'd consider it.

What does your friend need? Dana 44 with 3.73's? The GM 10 bolt and Dana 44 everything from the knuckles out is interchangeable. If that 10 bolt has the right gear ratio and your friend has a comlete Dana 44 with good outers you can put the good outers on the 10 bolt.

Ok, Goober wants your axle, I want Goobers and you want D44 axle shafts... I have some extra axle shafts and can part out the 3.08 D44 I have.

I bet those spare d44 axle shafts I have would come in handy right about now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

1 possible problem: the d44 sat for awhile (before I got it) and there is some rust on the ring gear. I haven't looked at it really close yet but I'll check it out this weekend and take some pic's if you want.

Please check on those gears this weekend. IF they are serviceable I would be interested in that axle housing and gears. At least the carrier if the gears end up junk.

If you want to trade those D44 axle shafts for the 10 bolt then maybe I can find something to trade you for the D44 housing and gears.
