    I'm thinking of dumping the D44 in favor of a 10-bolt (because I really want a Torsen differential in the front) and I wanted to find out whether there was a difference in track.

    Why don't you just save some money and put in a Tractech Torsen and they make them for a D44. I think I even heard somewere that Truetech actually bought permission from Zexel Torsen...I just wish I could remember where I heard that.
