Does anyone know what the torque spec is for the rear pinion bolt on a 10 bolt axle? Thanks in advanced.

I think he is talking about the big nut that holds the yoke on....

Ok, if that is the case we still need some more info. If he is replacing the seal or yoke or something like that, then he needs to get a standard 1/2 drive ratchet with an 1 1/4 socket and tighten it as tight as he can get it. The crush sleeve is still hard enough that he wont be able to over tighten it with just a standard length ratchet, " NOT USING A BREAKER BAR FOR LEVERAGE", but if he is dead set on the specs he will need to refer to a haynes or chiltons manual, I cant recall off the top of my head what the specs are.

Yeah, but that 250 ft/lbs. is for installing a new pinion isn't it? Thats the amount it takes to start crushing the crush sleeve. It all depends on what it is he is doing. Besides, we need to make sure we know what exactly he is talking about. He needs to be more specific as to what he is talking about and what he is doing.
