    Yet another question
I was talking to a guy on the phone about buying a 10 bolt front,4:10 gears from his 1983 Jimmy.
The problem is ,,,he says it has 35 spline axles????? is this possible,, If so will the gears fit on my 10 bolt 28 spline in my 1988 Blazer???( I only want to salvage the gears.)
    Thanks
    Ken

Tell him to get someone who can count to check the splines. I think the only axle to have that many splines is a D70!

Yes the gear set will fit even if his is a 30 spline 10 bolt. 10 bolts were never came in a 35 spline variety, at least not in a truck. If his 10 bolt is stock it should be 28 just like yours.
Great website by the way. If your ever in Richmond look for my Jimmy, its prolly the only one in town.[IMG]
