10 bolt tie rod on Dana 44

    Anybody running this? looks like a cheap way to gain an inch of clearance for the old bendy-stick. I am replacing mine(the ends were worn out) and I had the 10 bolt one lying around. It is going to fit, but I first have to unbolt the spring on one side and jack the truck up so the end can clear the knuckle.

    Just thought I would share the tip, don't know if it's been done...

    why not unscrew the adjustment sleave and bolt it in the arms then rethread it when it's on. Seems a little easier than taking a spring loose.
