    10 \"wide or 12\" wide rims ?

i purchased a set of used 40in groundhawgs that were already mounted on 10in wide rims. the tires themselves are 17in wide. my question is am i ruining them by runnin the on 10 wide or should i go out and purchase another set of wider rims? its still driven on the street if that matters

    thanks

I ran My 40x17.5 mudders on 10" They reccomend 10-12. But 10 were alot cheaper. Could air them down to 8psi. Never lost a bead.
