Thank you technology. Power just went down again but I popped out the work laptop, slapped in a wireless broadband card, and I'm surfing the net. Of course I'm buck nekked in a pool of sweat, but some things just can't be helped..... I sure wish the pool was done already......

The humidity flat kicked My ass today. I did not piss for 11 hours today. Yet I drank almost 5 gallons of water and a couple Gatorade My shirt was soaked when I got home and had salt stains. Now I know why I loved the weather back home in N. CA

That is where I'm at, but it is no picnic in the flatlands. I may have to conduct a tactical retreat with the boys this weekend and hit the mountains.

Power is finally back on. Apparently somebody managed to tip a crane over on themselves buying the farm and taking down power lines as well.

And as if I'm not in a bad enough mood, my stomache is in knots. I went with some co-workers to the "Super Buffet" for lunch today. The only thing "super" about is is my nauseau. I never knew you could prepare E-coli and Salmonella in so many tasty ways.........

106 and 30% right now. Yesterday was horrid. About 90 and 100% don't ask me what the heat index was (and that was at 4 AM).

We had another T-storm come tearassing through the county again last night. I ended up getting called out to help for awhile. Of course I ended up in a little garage battle royale on the way home, so I just got in a few minutes ago. Story on that one coming in the near future.........................:D

I'll take the heat/humidity over those storms you guys have had any day.

    :D :D :D

Yup. We have been drastically needing the moisture in them, but for all the chaos they have been causing, I don't think the tradeoff is good..............
