That is the best deal I have seen in a long time  Looks to be in pretty good shape..

Why would he sell it for $100 bucks is there something wrong with it that I don't see or is he just desperate for money ?

Are you going to sell any parts off of it ?

I remember you telling the fellow that is suppose to come pick up a tranny and tranfercase from you something about you might have a parts truck when he got there.. Is this the truck you were talking about ?

nothing is wrong with it except the fact of rust...lots of it..
I drove it into my driveway....

A friend scored this a while ago and sat in his yard.. he is getting a divorce and sold it to another guy for what he paid... $100...
so now the other guy isnt going to do anything with it...
    thus $100 to me...

so I will take the few parts I need and yes.. the guy that is buying a np205/smc465 mated is getting this truck for FREE!!!!! I just need it gone.. once I get my stuff I dont care about the rest.. nice top on it too.. doors are rusted but close so nice.. even windows crank EASY!!!!

I am keeping the smc465/np208 unless the guys bud whom the truck is going to wants it for $200

thus if he decides to rebuild my parts truck... all he will need is a steering column, some sort of clutch and put the tranny xfer back in..... smokes a good bit though.... :doah:

remember my score.... 1979 GMC K35?? took the front d60, dual tanks and wiring, radiator, rollbar, factory tach... all for $250??? came with 4" susp 3" body and 38's

    $100 truck score

If I still lived on Long Island, I'd probably be hitting you up for some parts, but then I probably wouldn't have scored my 79 Jimmy that I bought out here in AZ. That rear cap would fit nicely into my plans for a color change. Oh well.

    What? $100...

Find me one of them would ya. I have bought a 79 and a 88 for parts and all together that cost me $900. In fact that rig is in better shape than most of the K5's around here. God I wished I lived nearby. Always looking for parts.

The one I have now is white. I like the black one though, and mine doesn't have the sliding windows or the roofrack either.

I know you live in South Jersey, just as I do too. You seem to have a major hook-up for 4x4 parts in our area. I was wondering if you wouldn't mind throwing me some respurces to find cheap 4x4 stuff? Maybe just give me a heads up on a cheaper Dana 60 or a junkyard with alot of old trucks. If you don't want to post this publicly then please drop me an e-mail at: y7x@aol.com or aim at: freeprogzguide.

actually it is not in that great of shape... motor runs.. quick turn of key and BANG she runs.. smokes like a biatch....

so much rust.. you just dont see it in that pic... if you look inside.. there are holes in the floor the size of the grand canyon....

however yes a good score for just the parts I need!!!! :wink1:

here is a HUGE pic of how bad the drivers side outside is...

although the top is awesome with sliding windows, tint and the roof rack...

I threw away two of them roof racks. One had the little spoiler or wing on the back of the cap aswell. I could use the small vents on the sliding windows, mine are ceased. and the brackets are broke off on the bottom.

aight all hydro stuff is out... really easy.. time consuming though.....
since I have the truck... good thing I can just make a cardboard cutout template....

next is tranny and xfer case.... then that is it... all set for Sub-Zero to take away....

I lifted the front end drivers side... which flexed the drivers rear tire... .and I noticed one thing..... 2 of the 4 leafs are broke and seems the guy rigged it with duct tape and a piece of metal :doah:
