WOW nice job on the fuel lines! I have to redo them on my plow truck, but I think a roll of rubber hose is callin me! Thats way to much work to put into my plow blazer. It's the final year for this one!

I'd think about getting that 10 bolt out before anything. Who needs new brake lines on a truck that has a scattered rearend?

Well, the 10bolts stay for plowing. Next summer the 14bolt with disks and D44 with 4.10's go in.

So yeah the brakes have to work and the 10bolts stay for now /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
Only down fall is both front and rear 10bolts in that truck are opens, ok for plowing but crappy for trying to get over a 6foot drift /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

MAN thats alot of work! the back of my plow blazer was worse than yours and i Can't justify that much work! I was just gonna put a bigger pice of plywood down to hold the spare tire up off the gas tank!

Man, am I glad I dont have to deal with midwest rust anymore. Make sure you use POR-15 to help stop the rust while you got it tore down that far.

Mine has more of a natural rust proofing, from engine, tranny, t-case and axle leaks.

Mine is pretty much in the same boat right now....the whole underside of my burb is prolly coated with a good inch of oil/grease/slick stuff to prevert rust from natural leakage /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    Yeah this setup
    [IMG]
only thing I see bad about that, I bet it dont overlap pieces and its not going to be strong butted up against each other. Plus there are no bracing under those sections unless you buy new

    My parts list is
    2- 4'x8' 1/8th diamond tread steel $80 a sheet ($25 to bend)
    3"x3" 1/8th wall square tube -16feet $40
    2x3" 6'3" 1/8th wall for tailpan $12.05
    1/4" plate 8"x5' $6
    6x2" 6' 1/8th wall bumper mockup $25
other channel and bracing with above tailpan, tube bumper and 2 sheets of steel totaled $269

New bed floor that went in my DD $398 from factory (closer to $500 now if you can find one, I looked and asked around!)
the other setup on my plow blazer (which is an 87 TBI, both my trucks are) will be alot mor solid and no more back seat /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Well if you have a welder and a way to cut sheet metal (I'm just using a torch), I got those 4x8 sheet of diamond tread for $80 (x2 sheets). I'm going to replace fromt he front seats to the tailpan and I will still have almost half of a sheet left to fix other spots /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
