Aight guys, I did a search for this and came up with nothing, but I'm a newbie, so I coulda just missed it. I took the axles out of a 74' Blazer and putting them under my C10. The front is a D44 w/ 3.73 gears. The back is of course, a 12 bolt. My brother counted teeth and all that and we figured up that I have a 3.81 ratio, and that number is also stamped on the carrier. Has anybody ever heard of this ratio in a GM axle? And also, I'm running a full time NP203 Tcase, would having the two different ratios mess anything up as long as I keep my hubs unlocked while I'm on the street?
