hahaha. We ran accross another rare axle on a J10 Jeep at the tellico run. Somebody asked what the axle was under the truck. Well I assumed it was stock and the stock axle is a D44. Then the guy pipes in and says yes its a "12bolt dana 44 GM". LOL After a closer look it was determined to be a 12 bolt. BigJbear has a picture of it.

Gosh I heard those front axles were almost as strong as the Ford 9 inch axles that were in the front of Broncos. lmao

Sometimes you get confused when you are counting bolts in a circle and don't know where to stop. This is why I sell an alignment jig which will help keep track of how many bolts you have. Only $19.95 plus S&H. Send checks now!

REALLY though people, He could have taken a 12 bolt and shortend the axle tube on one end and made the other end longer then gotten some cumtom axle shafts.
I dought it but hey maybe he did I can't say for sure[IMG].

Ahhhh yes, the 12-bolt front axle. I seem to recall the board going round and round with Executioner and a couple others claiming to have 12-bolt frontends a few times in the past... let's not start this one again, huh?

I knew Executioner would have to reply to this one. [IMG] I think he goes around with an AK-47 blasting people who get the facts wrong about their trucks. I have some weird pet-peeves too, so I understand completely.
