What kind of back spacing do the rims have...if the have +/- 3 inches of back spacing and yopu have the stock 1/2 ton axles, I could see some durability problems with running a 35x14.50 tire...the width of the rim with the aforementioned back spacing would put nearly 9" of dish on the out side of the wheel...this means the tire has a heck of a lever arm over the hub and spindle...if they have like 6" of back spacing, you might be fine strengthwise you might run into clearance problems...just a thought...I decided to stick with 15x8 steel wheel with 4" of backspacing and 35x12.50" tires...

Im on my 2nd rig w/ 12 wide wheels and never had a problem w/ them. I ran 40's on the last one and 38s presently. Both were daily drivers and seen a lot of mileage. Ive had friends run 16 and 18 wide custom made wheels w/ 44s. In fact I am about to go 8 lug and 14s on mine. Just keep up the maintenance and I dont see a problem.
