My wife's uncle has a 2wd p/u with a 14 bolt rear end that I can probably get for free.I assume there's no difference between the 2wd and the 4x4 version but I just wanted to make sure.I don't need another piece-o-stuff laying around that I can't use on my rig.
    Thanks.

mine is off a 2wd, but just so you can see for yourself get a tape measure out and check it
should be like 35 inches outside to outside or something

in my case the 2 wd shock mounts were too close to the axle tubes and had to be extended out so the shocks body wouldnt make contact

2wd shock mounts will sit down further away from the tubes.

4wd shock mounts sit right with the tubes.

i think that was the spring perches. not sure though. i go measure right now

ok, 45.5 or so. tape was curved due to the centersection.
not 35. thats outside to outside on the perch.

Yep, the 2 wheel driveshock mounts are different. The 12 botl in my truck came from a 2 wheel drive. Had to whack the mounts of and move'em up a bit. Sucked too, cause I thought I was all done with the axle swap...went to bolt up the shocks and.......ARGHHHHH!!!!!!!! lol. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
