I just got three truck's from the navy. All 1 ton chevys. TWo with the turbo 400/205 combo. i would like to put the running gear into my diesel blazer (m1009). the shop near me said they will bolt right in. One is a m1008 and the other two are m1028a1. Any help would be great.

    Thanks
    Mike

<font color=blue>If its going into a K5, you need to have the spring perches and shock mounts on the rear moved and re-welded. And you need a hybrid u-joint to hook the driveshaft up to the rear end.

I think everything you need to know about the swap has been discussed. I am in the process of doing this exact same swap on mine now. The only hard part is moving the mounts. The link is to what you had posted on the ORD forum section. Project Mighty Mouse here.
