Is it possible to convert an 8 lug 14 bolt to a six lug? if so is it worth my time? I'm asking because I found a 14 bolt with the right gears in it but don't want to have to swap wheels..
    thanks,
    ben

It depends, are you talking about the metric 14B SF version? Or the full floater? The FF is very hard to do right, custom SF axles have to be made along with different bearings and the hub has to be aliminated. I have heard about a different hub being made but maybe someone else can chime in on that one. Spacers/adapters can be used but I don't really like those. With the SF 14B all you have to do is swap the axles far as I know.

    thanks,
the link is helpful...pricy conversion though..it's a full floater so I thinks that's my only option unless I want to convert to a semi-floater.
