This is a reply I got from ARB in regaurds to an air-locker for a 14 bolt FF

    Paul,

The 14 bolt Air Locker is in the pre-development stage. We have not
started the design, but it is on the list of units to be built. Once the
engineers have finished up their current projects, they will start on the
    next batch of scheduled developments.

One thing you can do to help make sure the 14 bolt FF Air Locker is in
that next batch of units developed, get the word out to all those fellow
club members who would like the 14 bolt FF Air Locker and have them write,
email and call requesting that diff. The more requests we track, the faster
the decision process goes. Tell them that here in the states they can ask
for me, if they write to Australia, have them request the product
    development dept.

    Best Regards,

That's the same thing TO THE LETTER that they told me about a year ago. They aren't gonna make one and if they do, it will be in 6 years at the earlist. Get a Detroit or fire up the welder.

Get a Detroit. They are bullet proof and no political BS with ARB.

Been pretty busy at work. Putting more miles on the Jeep than I care for. Blew the motor in the Blazer about 2 weeks ago so I'm rebuilding that and trying to get a few other little things done and fixed up on her.

Your bumpers look VERY nice!! Been meaning to ask you, where are you getting your pipe for your bumpers and what not? I got spoiled working at the refinery, had piles of it, now that I'm in an office it's alittle harder to find /forums/images/icons/smile.gif

I use Quick Service Steel @ 1155 North Peoria. They are pretty reasonable on their new stuff and If you get drops they sell it by the pound.
You doing anything special on the motor rebuild?

Cool..Thanks, I'll try and get over there on Friday.

Not doing anything REAL special. I just want it back on the road....AGAIN!!
I've considered a few different options but I think I am going to just go back with a factory style rebuild, maybe an RV style cam, but not very likely. I still have plans to do a FI 383, just don't have the funds to do it properly right now. I'm thinking a basic small block rebuild right now, and pick up another 350 to do the 383 project with, that way when it's ready I can swap it over.

I've still got to weld up the floorboards, finish the fenders, put a 1" body lift on, and herculine the interior. The list of stuff to do keeps getting longer, but I'm still not getting anything done /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

There is an vacuum operated locker on the market for almost any axle. For the 14 bolt available in July 02.
Available for the Rockwell aprox. end of the year. This locker comes with a 3 year warranty against breakage.
    E-mail me for more informations.
