You read correctly we are letting these go until the end of Sept for $65 shipped to your door. The mount plate w/ holes is laser cut from 1/2" plate and the formed one of a kind v-bottom designed pinion skid is from 5/16". Now, You may ask is this thick enough? Quite frankly with the welded & formed v'design it is more than enough to skid your 6ooolb+ rig over or at least side to side over the rocks and away from the yoke and u-joint. We have several hundred of these out in use at this point with no breakage issues. We sent two of these out recently for Blazer Bash and the to be installed on the K5 blazer. We supply grade 8 allen socket head cap screws and lock washers. As all our products the unit comes unpainted. We have these available for the Ford 9" also. I ship all our parts in new uline boxes and all hardware is sealed inside a plastic bag within the box. This makes sure UPS does not destroy your used cracker jack boxes during delivery. Please sned me an e-mail if interested. Thanks Shawn

Do these fit the older Eaton axles? A lot about them is close to or identical to the 14bolt, maybe the bolt-on pinion support is the same as well?

That's a good question as I know my disc kits fits them, I would be willing to refund your product cost $ if it does not. Thanks Shawn

I may take you up on that, I just have to get settled into my new place... right now my k5 is on a boat bobbing around the pacific ocean, so I can't really see ordering parts for it =)

You're moving from a nissan/scout guy with a decent job to go live with a ford owner who lives off his dad? :P
