I know this has been covered, but I forgot. If I get a 14 bolt with a gov lock do I have to get an open carrier to put in a Detroit? Or it the detroit its own carrier. Thanks

someone recently told me of a new detroit locker out that you can use even if you have a gov lok...it somehow converts the carrier or something...is this true or is my person misinformed?

    Later

Just tap it in...tappity tap tap...

I think that you're thinking of the PowerTrax self-exploding locker. [IMG] They make one for a 14-bolt Gov-Lock, but the Toyota Land Cruiser crowd is betting that the company is going to go broke from replacing units under warranty. [IMG]

I saw an article somewhere, and can search offroad.com, but if you have the link handy that would be great. Thanks
