I found a 14 bolt for $250 in town. Not sure of the ratio yet, but it's out of a 79 3/4 ton chevy. Anybody have a guess what it might be?

    Probably 3.73 or 4.10, possibly 4.56 /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif

Thanks. There wasn't a preferred ratio for a 3/4 ton in 1979 then? I'm hoping for 4:56's, but my luck, they'll be 3:73's and I'll have to do a gear change.
