i recently purchased a 14 bolt out of a 78 3/4 ton van. i'm aware that the spring pads and shock mounts have to be moved.
QUESTION..........i read on this site somewhere about a member who had made some spring pads for another member, well now i need some. can anyone help me? is there a manufacture part # for either the spring pads or the shock mounts?

i can't have fun till i get these parts; now no one wants to be responsible for a k5 just sitting!!! help me help myself.
    thanks!!!

I built a set of bad boy perches for Brandon (<font color=blue>ftn96</font color=blue>) for his 14 bolt. I no longer work where I used to and don't have acess to all the shop goodies I used to.[IMG]

A simpler but just as effective perch can be made using 2.5" box tubing. I would use 1/4" wall or thicker. You will need a torch to cut the radius for the axle tube and a grinder to clean up the rough edges. I'm sorry I can't help you out...

I can build you a set from 1/4" plate. I have built a couple sets already for 14 bolts. $40.00 a set plus shipping. Check out my site.
