maybe im jujst asking in wrong way hmm..

just need to know the overall width from WMS to other WMS on a regular old dually 1 ton pickup chassis 14 bolt FF,

the ultimate would be to have measurements from outer wheel outer sidewall over to opposite outer wheel outer side wall- along with inners also- and also to know what size tires that are on the axle that someone takes these measurements from.

and, if anyone needs measurements off a 60's SRW FF Dana 60 or 70's 14-bolt same description or 80's dually van chassis 14-bolt FF then i can get em.

    thanks for anything at all

    <font color="green"> Here's the info that I have -

GM Dana 60 front (single wheel) ...................69"

GM Dana 60 front (dual rear wheel) ..............77" ; +4" on each side vs single wheel

GM 14 Bolt rear FF (pickups, DRW or SRW) ....................67"

GM 14 Bolt rear FF (dual wheel cab &amp; chassis)........................63"

GM 14 Bolt rear SemiF (single wheel) ..............66"

    GM Dana 44 Front (single wheel) ..............69"8-lug; 67" 6-lug

    GM 10 bolt front (single wheel) ..............69" 8"lug; 67" 6-lug

GM 14 Bolt rear (Van single wheel) ...............70"

GM 12 bolt and 10 bolt rear .....................64"

I am under the impression that the 14 bolt dually axles found under pickups are the same width regardless of whether they are single or dual wheel.

The DRW *pickup* is approx 77"... but thats for the 88-up body style. Same (similar?) width to a 14-bolt from a cube- van or step-van. (Replaced the Dana 70 DRW around 92-93 or so.)

So the late model DRW P/U rears are as wide as the old style DRW D60 fronts (I'm only refering to WMS-WMS)? Very cool info. Off to the junkyard I go.
