14 Bolt U-bolt\'s.. What size to get?

What is the inner diameter of the 14 bolt rear for the U-BOLT's.. I'm trying to get everything together for this weekend to do my axle swap..
I ordered the 3/4 ton spring anchor plates from LMC,
Getting the universal 3/4 to 1/2 ton u-joint today..
    And ordering my wheels..
U-bolt's are the only area I need help with ..
    Thanks in advance..

Any idea where to get these long enough to work with 4" spring packs?

    Just say no to crack(s)

    No prob...
Humble suggestion...shave the bottom of the 14 bolt before you install it. Better clearance and way easier to do when its not under the truck![IMG]

I just went to a local spring shop and gave them the dimensions I needed and they bent them for me right then and there...cost me less than $25 if I recall. I'm pretty sure i was in and out of that place in less than 30 minutes with U-bolts in hand....i wish everything else was that easy.

I'm glad you posted this.. I almost forgot about the bigger spring plate. I was gonna head out to 4WParts today for lunch to see if they had the ubolts. I'll post some part #'s if they sell them separatly from the whole kits. If not I'll give ORD a call.

Hey Rocko, 4Wheel Parts told me the same thing. "Bring in your old ones so we can match them up." UMm.. I don't have old ones you PRICKS, that's why I'm asking you!! I didn't tell them that but I wanted to. I know they sell block kits for 3/4 ton rears, why can't they just get the u bolt # out of that? Makes no sese. Looks like its ORD for me too.. should've just checked with them in the first place.

Its awefully hard to beat Stephens service, or his product. I'm still amazed at how poorly run so many business's are these days!

Re: 14 Bolt U-bolt\'s.. What size to get?

Since I'm running rear lift springs.. Steve told me all I need are stock 14 bolt u-bolt's..
So.. he said he's shipping them out today.. and they do have them in stock..
Look's like ORD is a one stop for all our Blazer's needs.. this is the first time I ordered from them... and there will be lot's of money spent "well spent" money going to ORD..

    You got that right Rene..
I was happier than a pig in poop when Steve got on the line.. asked what I was doing .. my modifcations.. then we talked a little about his truck .. Steve Fox's truck.. then he said he's going to try and get my u-bolt's out today...
Felt great doing business with Steve and ORD..
And I say again.. I'll be doing plenty of business over there..

You better get the u-bolts that are big enough to accept the 1" zero rate springs. That's next! Take good notes on the axle swap, we are next. The D60/14B left this morning from PA and will be here by the end of the week.

Re: 14 Bolt U-bolt\'s.. What size to get?

I'm thinking of not going the 1inch zero rate springs.. rather I'll just go with the extended front shackles and 1 inch body lift.
My 35's don't rub anymore since I trimmed my front fender's..
And I'll be staying with 35's til they wear out.. [IMG].
I'm almost there.. once all the part's are here.. I can begin.

Hey Rocko, if you don't mind me asking, do you have a parts list (with part numbers maybe) of the things you had to buy? I'm sure it would be a great help to many of us. I'm working on a list but I just know I'm going to forget something when it comes down to it!
