Bought a 14 bolt rear, the yoke was broke off. What size yoke/ujoint combo would be recommended? what all has to be done to the already short ass driveshaft to accomadate the ujoint?????i know alotta cutting and rewelding and stuff, but i was curious about anything else?

14FF typically has a 1350 Spicer yoke. I run a 1410, but they are hard to find, I bought mine from Jess at High Angle Drivelines.

Drive shaft is cut to length (or re-tubed as required) and you just weld in another tube yoke of the appropriate size. Ideally, this will be welded "true" and balanced if you expect it to serve street duty. That can only be done properly by a professional shop, though some careful work may produce “acceptable” results depending on skill and equipment.
