OK, Just gotta ask a question here, call me dense[IMG]. I've been reading all these post from you (Brians 60s) for many months. What's the deal? Are you a truck parts broker or something? Your profile says realtor. Just curious.

I am a realtor that also has a parts addiction. if I find something I want for a good price I will jump on it. It all started when I found 7 brand new dana 60s in the crate. I went to all of my friends and asked who wanted one and had money for them since I had to buy all 7 or none. As expected most of them flaked and I had a few left over to get rid of. Once I found out that there was a great market for this stuff, I started internet surfing for more axles in my spare time, to sell and make some extra cash with. That is how it all started, I am just like a lot of guys on this site who are always looking for deals on 4x4 stuff. If I find a deal on a complete truck I will take what I want and sell the rest. I have done that about 8 times so far. That is how I end up with a lot of my parts. the other stuff is things I found on the net. There is not a ton of money in it. but it does pay for most of my parts. If you take all the time involved though, it isn't always that great, but it must be worth it or i still wouldn't be doing it. On these axles shipping was the real killer. The crates were not in good enough shape to stack, so it ended up costing $200 more on shipping. When all is said and done I will be able to keep 2 out of the 10 for profit, plus $400. Assuming that they all sell and I stay firm on my price.. Brian

  7. really brian's realtor job is just a front for his parts addiction. its just so he can tell people he has a job. when he should be closing on a house he's scoring some one ton truck for $400. seriously, brian sells good stuff. i've met all his friends who baught the dana 60s. they're all turning 44s with no problem. the blue beast sports 3/4 ton axle bought from brian too. he even helped me pull em and haul em to my house. so buy those axles up!!!

Thanks for the info [IMG]. I'm always looking for stuff too, but never seem to walk into those great deals[IMG]. I'm still hunting around for an old 1 ton farm truck. Eventually I'll find one for 1200 or less, I know they exist.[IMG]

What is the price you ask for a Dana 60? A 14FF?

    TIA
