I'm on a Mission...to save money and do it right./forums/images/icons/smile.gifarn't we all

I purchased a 14ff out of a "78 3/4 Suburban. And I'm swapping it under my K5. I recently purchased ProComp add-a-leafs and have them in now and I also have a 2.5 block in the rear. I Was wondering if I got the 2.5 Shackle Flip I could reuse the Factory U Bolts off of the Sub. and not have to Finagle in new blocks and U bolts for the SWAP. Would I have to take out the add a leafs due to the thickness of the 14's axle tubes? One more Q, Would I have to re angle the spring pads to compensate for the Flip? Not a Major problem if so...THANK YOU ALL.

    Close Pismo?
friken do-good'ers, can't smoke, wear your helmet, I'm runnin them birdy's Over, when i see one.
The 4x4'er use of that area, brings into the local economy; I'm going to throw a wildass guess, over 75 Million/year, I'v heard its more like a cool billion, with the greensticker costs < and if you just look at the fuel cost alone; its to much to count.
Cal Parks takes in over millions/year to keep a few dozen crappers cleaned, come on.
how much money do you think the bird watchers bring to the table??
even Juan's Cantina would be hurt.
I can't see it happening, can they cut their own go-nads off?
    oh sorry,this was a 14ff question.

About the only way to tell about the ubolts is to measure them up. Then make sure you can take them off before you get very carried away with it.
With the 2.5" you may not have to mess with the pinion angle, but it will pitch it up some. this really depends on how much angle is on your blocks.

After talking to you last week on the phone I think that if I take out the Add A Leafs and just reuse the Blocks I might be OK. Thaks Steve for the help...
