1406 Edelbrock Carb

    Who runs the 1406 Edelbrock. Has anyone had any problems with the meetering rods getting stuck or jammed in the seat. Mine have done it all day today and my truck will not run at low speeds.
    I new I should have thrown that carb in the trash and get a holley.

    Anything but a holley!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif Had the 1406... i think. Got the edelbrock q- jet. Havent touched it sence i put it on.

    I got one and its ok, I put one of Edelbrocks off road kits in my last carb and it totally sucked ass! Im now looking to get rid of my 1406.

    i have the 1406 and have had it on 2 cars and now my blazer.i haven't had any trouble is any of them.the 1405 was a PITA to get started with so i bought a 1406 and didnt have problems after that.

    i have the 1406 on my 454 in my offroad truck and love it. then i have the 1408R?? the race carb on my poser show truck with a 454. now that mutha will make some serious ponies.
