14B w/ removable 3rd member

    In the Dec 2001 issue of Four Wheeler there is an article entitled "Full-Blown Blazer." On page 64 of the mag there is a pic of the "Corporate 14B." Am I misinformed? When did 14B come with removable 3rd members and look like a Ford 9" ? Misidentified or not it is a very sharp Blazer.

    My 17yr old son spotted the rearend and pointed it out to me.

    they done mucked up---its prob an eaton---they sued those on the 3/4 ton trucks before the 14ff

    Hehe, anyway, I agree, sounds like an old Eaton 3/4 or 1 ton.

    That rearend in those pics IS the Eaton rear. Apparently the owner does not know the difference between the Eaton and the REAL axle, the 14FF! [​IMG]
