Just about done with the 14bFF so I can start on the D60.

    Here is a before shot...

    And how it looks now...

I got the shock mounts in today and hope for the new spring perches soon. Then just need a test fit for the angles and off to the welder. I expect the rock ring in next week as well as the stainless steel brake hardlines. The 42" TSLs will follow shortly thereafter. Tomorrow this one goes back outside and the D60 moves into the garage!

Actually, it isn't your kit. I got it from another. Had to do a little grinding on it to make it fit just perfect, but I am happy with this one. I am sure your brackets are good as well, I just didn't want to pay the $100 if I could find them cheaper.

Yeah I got the axle offsets. Front is going forward 1.5" and the rear is going backwards 1". Those will be going on when the axles go under the rig on Feb 1st. I'll take lots of pics of the installation for you guys, too!

    I give it:

    Siskel.... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
    Ebert..... /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    TWO THUMBS UP!

The only heartbreaking thing is knowing that all that work, and beautiful paint is going to be covered in mud, dirt and scratches after only a few short months under your truck....still, there's something satisfying about having it be "perfect" when it first bolts up under there.

    I like it!

I'm about 2 weeks from painting mine....what paint did you put on it? por15? I got these for the shock mounts, they were CNC cut so the fits spot on and they don't hang below the axle...

I didn't see the point in POR15. Too many people I have heard go through the delicacy and difficuties with it. I used good ole fashioned rattle can Rustoleum black. Makes it real easy to touch up after runs! I will probably put a final coat of hard hat black on it after it is under the rig.

I have some very similar shock mounts. I have acquired them and will let the welders secure them soon.

45acpJr (Sean)- How exactly do the A-tron offset blocks work?!?! I saw them on the web site, but it still doesn't compute.

BTW, I'll be into a disk brake kit for my 14FF some time this spring. You can ship to Canada, right? I've read good things about it. Thanks.
