    ok, found this and want to know what is a open carrier, cuse I'm new to this and is $250.00 a good going price?

    open means it has no locker or posi in it and $250 is an ok price

    also, open carrier is desirable because a detroit locker will drop right in

    Ok, so next question is how much is a locker?
    And I think 4.10's are the highest gears you can go?

    a 14FF will also support 4.65's, 4.88's and 5.13's

    You can get a Detroit Locker for around $300.
