I have a 14bff form a late 70's truck and I'm going to install it in a 86' 1/2 ton 4X4 P/U. I need the part numbers for the 14bsf backing plate so that I hook the parking brakes up.
    Thanks in advance.

So I shouldn't have sent a pair to the dump?

Why won't the FF backing plates work?

According to the write up on this web site on installing a 14bff in a late model truck. The backing plate needs to be the press in type for the parking brake to work. If the old one will work please let me know. I'm going to start on the install this weekend.
