Ok, I pulled the diff cover off of a 14 bolt that I bought.
The numbers on the ring gear are GM 3992482 11 41 7.78.
Which number divides into 41 to to tell me the ratio.
41/11=3.73 gears sound right, or 41/7.78=5.26 gears. Which is it.
