14ff width and eaton width comparison

    can someone tell me what the width on a 14ff is from flange to flange. found somewhere that said the eaton rear ends were an inch shorter than a 14ff. if this is true then i need to know so i can order me some spacers for sure. i like everything to stick out the same.

    nobody? if i had one id just gi measure it. i just need flenge to flange. where the brake backing plate bolts.

    depends on the vehicle. most 1 ton truck axles for 73-86 that I have seen have been 42.5 inches. I think vans are wider, though.
