15\" 8 lug wheel ?

Hey all
I'm trying to get everthing together for the 14FF swap
I've found a source for wheels but I was wanting to know what the backspacing should be.
The 14FF has drum brakes.
I will be getting 15x10 wheels and I don't see the tires going any bigger than 35x14. The tires that I will be using for now are 33x12.5
Thanx
See ya

Standard backspacing for this sixe is 4 1/8", this is what I have (both sets) and reccomend. Some people prefer less. Do a search for the pro's and cons of both.

If you plan to run 8 lug in the front to match the 14ff you will want 3 1/2 backspacing. With the 14ff you should be able to go a little more. Who is your sorce for wheels, because I plan to get mine from Toybox Offroad. Crome Modular 15x10 8 lug wheels are $55 each through them.

$67 EA.
The ones that I was lookin at are 4.125 B/S.
But I'm not real crazy about chrome.
I would like to get painted wheels. I'll check out that other site.
Thanx.

My 15x10 8 lug wheels have 4 1/8" of backspacing. The only reason you would want 3 1/2" is if you have a 60 and only a 4" grinder. My dad just put the same wheels I have on his 60, it just takes a little more grinding.

I did mine w/ a 4" Makita grinder.

Me too. The 4" will work but the bigger one uses less disks and is faster.

I'm going to order my 15X8 8lug white wagon wheels tonight for $26.95 each from Summit. I run 36X12.5X15 Swampers and use the 8" rim. The 10" makes them look better but the 8" is more trail worthy. I believe it's a 4.5" backspacing and is better for the rocks.
