    15\" rims on a ff14b

hey gang, I wanna use 15x10 A/E 589 rims with a ff14b. Will these fit? I keep hearing about the drums being to large or something...I am gonna do a disc brake conversion...would that solve the problem?

15's will fit on the rear but what front you using? an aluminum wheel will need some masive grinding(i don't even think they will fit) to clear the front brakes

15 inch rims fit fine on a 14 bolt. Steel wheels at least. Sounds like aluminum may be differant, but I dont know.

yeah, aluminum wheels are thicker, so they require way more grinding for the frontend. (actually i think the concensus is that you need to go with steel wheels...)

I don't think you will be able to find 15x10 in an 8 lug pattern. I am in the same boat you are in. I want to go with 15x10 and i heard steel wheels are the only ones that will fit. The only chrome steel wheels I can find with an 8 lug pattern are at vintiquewheels. I think thats the name of them.

I went to my local tire/wheel shop and they basically MADE them for me. Or I should say had them made. I got the chrome mods for only 60 a piece. I just took them off the truck too, so if someone is interested I'll be selling them soon.

Jason, doubt you will find 'off the shelf' 589's in that pattern (8 lug) but you should be able to get custom wheels made locally by Willamette Wheel. Don't know the name, addy, etc, but think they are based in Salem. Do an internet search for them and give them a call.

Good luck finding 15", 8-lug aluminum wheels. There are quite a few places that sell steel 15" 8 luggers but the style selection is pretty limited. I few companies off hand include Eaton, American Racing, Wheel Vintiques, and U.S. Wheels.

They don't make 15x10 A/E 589 in 8 lug. The only compony that I have ever heard of that made 8 lug 15's in aluminum is Weld.
