15\" rims with 8 lug rotors???

How much of the caliper has to be ground off to allow rim clearance for a 15" rim when using 3/4 ton 8 lug rotors ??? is this really possible???
    thanks
    Ken

It is possible and I did it on my Blazer when I put in a 3/4 ton Dana 44 front. It seems like you grind a lot but most of it is casting slop on top of the caliper. It worked out great when I did it.

    Depends on your rims backspacing.
On mine i had to grind to the center of the hole on the top of the caliper about a 1/8th to 1/4 inch.
It'll take a couple of hours to do it, so be patient and if you have a rim that fits with the same backspacing, but without a tire , it'll make it alot easier to check the clerance.
