i found a 98 K2500 sierra with a 5.7L that caught my eye. i havent seen the truck in person, but from talkin to the guy who's selling it, it sounds like its in real good shape (yea, i know, i took what he said with a grain of salt). it's not a 6.5TD like i wanted, but it looks nice and its there, and i can afford it, not to mention it gets about the same mileage as my yukon, so im not too upset about that. i know the towing power isnt gonna be marvelous, but i can afford it, and the drivetrain is better set up than the yukon, so im interested. anyway, heres the kicker - its got 151,000 miles. the guy i spoke with says it runs like the day he bought it, burns no oil, everything's in good shape. they're askin $10k for it, and im pretty sure i could get close to that with a trade-in for the yukon. any thoughts on this? what tranny and t-case would this thing have? im guessing 4L80E and some kinda BW t-case? 14 bolt FF rear end?
