    15\'s or 16.5\'s rims ???

I'm getting steel rims. Does it make any difference weather I go 16.5 or 15 ??? Haven't bought the tires yet, and can get both the rims and tires in 15's or 16.5. Any advantage of one over the other ??? I'm going with these rims. [IMG]

15's have a safety bead stock. But if you are plannin on gettin beadlocks or something, then that doesn't matter. If you have a d60, you'll have to grind the caliper with 15's. Just depends on whether you are going with beadlocks or not. If so, then 16.5's are better. But if you are just going to run a straight up regular ole wheel... 15's would be better /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Stay away from the 16.5, there choices in tires are kind of narrow....

15 or 16 is my recomendation....

[/ QUOTE ] The tires I want are made in 15's, or 16.5, but didn't check if made in 16's. But yeah, I checked tires sizes befor I even started looking at rims. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've got 16.5" wheels on my Superduty and it is way too easy to slip a bead, even without airing down. Definitely go with the 15" if you want plane wheels but like aquaman said, either one is just fine if you are gonna run beadlocks
