15x10 3.5\" Back Spacing... Still need to Grind??

I know this topic has been beat to death but I had no luck doing a search. I just picked up some 3/4 ton axles and now I need rims. I was looking at the 15x10 Summit rims w/ 3.5"BS. Will I still need to grind the front calipers with these rims?

yes I believe you will. I don't know how a 44, compares to a 60, but the wheels I'm getting will have 3" of backspacing, and I'm planning on grinding at least a 1/8 inch off, give or take. So I'd plan on some grinding, how much? I don't know. Good Luck! Jon

As near as I can tell my rims are 3 5/8" back spacing and i still had to grind a fair bit...

    Its all trial and error...
