Probably to run a D60 with no grinding or very little.

I think 3" backspacing should be sufficient.

I think you can get the Eaton wheels through National Tire & Wheel with custom backspacing for an extra $15/wheel. Also, I believe 4WPW can get custom backspaced 15", 8-lug steel rims.

How about some aluminum wheels with 2" back spacing?

Yeah Dep; US wheel said they can make their wheels with any custom backspacing & they're reasonably cheap too. 4WPW can also make their Rock Crawler wheels in a 2" backspacing. Theirs are fairly cheap too!

Only issue on both of thse is the somewhat low 1500 lb/wheel load rating

Eatons; as mentioned by someone else, can be made with any backspacing but are much more expensive although they have a load rating of about 2800lbs/wheel

    Good Luck

The 15x10 steel Eatons are listed at about $68/wheel with the standard 3.5" backspacing. Custom backspacing is an extra $15/wheel.

Thanks! Those are pretty sweet! I was thinking about going with the American Racing black steel wheels, but they seem to be a bit on the thin side. Those Eaton's look prtty beefy! [IMG]

Re: 15x10 8 lug Steel wheels with 2\" backspacing

Thanks for all the replys, the reason for the 2" backspacing is as someone guessed to be able to run 15" wheels on a Dana 60 front axle and not have to grind the calipers.

I think I have 4" on the aluminum wheels I have right now, but from what I have read, there is no way that 4" would fit without some serious grinding.
